Introducing Reliable: semantic search for procurement law

Today we are launching Reliable, our semantic search tool for public procurement law, built for the lawyers who work in it every day.

Procurement law is dense, fast-moving, and unforgiving of mistakes. The research behind a single question can mean reading through thousands of decisions to find the few that matter. Reliable is built for exactly that work, and it follows one principle above all: we use AI to find sources, not generate them.

From a question to the right paragraph

Ask Reliable a question in plain legal language. Instead of matching keywords, it builds a representation of the meaning of your question and retrieves the decisions that answer it, even when they use entirely different wording. Results are returned at the level of the individual paragraph, not just the document, so you land on the reasoning that matters rather than page one of forty. When you open a decision, the passages that answered your question are highlighted in place.

Every source in one search

Reliable searches across the sources a procurement lawyer relies on, and cites each one separately:

• Norway: decisions of the Klagenemnda for offentlige anskaffelser (KOFA), the procurement act and its regulations, the DFØ guidance, and legal commentary.
• Denmark: decisions of Klagenævnet for Udbud, together with the procurement act and its executive orders.
• Germany: the federal Vergabekammer des Bundes, with the Länder chambers, the statutes and higher-court practice to follow.
• EU law: the procurement directives and regulations, and the case law of the Court of Justice and the General Court, available across every jurisdiction.
